Pillar III (additional voluntary accumulation) pension fund SEB pensija plius
Pension funds are a standard instrument recognized all over the world to accumulate funds for the additional pension. The government stimulates such accumulation - instalments to the pension funds are not taxable.
Any person who signed a pension accumulation agreement may become a pension fund participant. A personal account for every participant of the fund for instalments and accumulation of funds for investment by specialists will be opened.
SEB investicijų valdymas, a subsidiary company of SEB Bank today offers three voluntary accumulation funds - SEB pensija 1, SEB pensija 2 and SEB pensija 3.
- Fund SEB pensija 1 plius is recommended to elder individuals who will accumulate the additional pension for a shorter period and to those willing to retain stable value of investment. Fund SEB pensija 1 plius will invest seeking to increase value of accumulated assets and to retain a low risk. The largest portion of the fund assets (70-100 per cent) will be invested into debt securities and money market instruments. The remaining portion will be invested in equities in developed economies, Lithuania and other Baltic countries.
- Fondą SEB pensija 2 plius should be selected by younger and middle-age individuals who will accumulate the additional pension for a medium-term or longer-term. Fund SEB pensija 2 plius will invest seeking to increase value of assets accumulated by the fund participants in the long-term and retain a medium risk. The largest portion of the fund assets (60-100 per cent) will be invested in equities in developed economies, Lithuania and other Baltic countries. The remaining portion will be invested in debt securities and money market instruments.
The Board of SEB investicijų valdymas by its resolution No.24 as of 18 October 2004 approved fees of pension funds SEB pensija 1 plius and SEB pensija 2 plius. Asset management fee - 1 per cent of the estimated average annual value of assets in the participant’s pension account.
Instalment fee:
- SEB pensija 1 plius - 2 per cent of instalments paid on behalf of the participant;
- SEB pensija 2 plius - 3 per cent of instalments paid on behalf of the participant.
The Board of SEB investicijų valdymas by its resolution No.30 as of 24 December 2004 approved the minimum instalments to voluntary pension funds SEB pensija 1 plius ir SEB pensija 2:
- the minimum initial instalment: for individuals – LTL 50, for legal entities – LTL 30;.
- the minimum instalment: for individuals – LTL 50, for legal entities – LTL 30;.
Important information. Pension accumulation companies do not guarantee return on investment of the fund, it may fluctuate and depends on the investment results. .
Return on investment of the pension fund is estimated by deducting the management fee and the actual costs covered from the pension assets that per year may not exceed 4 per cent of the value of assets under management .
