SEB Baltic Gateway is a solution for direct bank and accounting software connection and data exchange. It offers the possibility to get account information, as well as forwarding of payment orders round-the-clock. Baltic Gateway is based on RESTful API-s with XML format messages.

It is a modern and effective method for sending payment orders and receiving the bank account-related information.

Baltic Gateway service will be useful for such companies, which need to immediately receive information about funds booked to their accounts. It is also useful for such companies, which execute a large number of payment orders.

The service user may:

  • check balance of account
  • receive a statement of account for  the specified period
  • send local or international payment orders
  • sell/buy foreign currency

Baltic Gateway is based on RESTful API-s with XML format messages in ISO20022 format.

In order to use this service, you will be required to:

  • open an account at SEB Bank
  • develop software according to the technical specification provided by the bank
  • sign the service agreement.

Security of any sent or received message will be ensured by reliable security technologies:

  • communication certificate for identification and data encryption (by the client and by the bank)
  • payment order to be signed by a qualified electronic signature
  • payment order to be approved by several signatories. The bank will check rights and transaction limits of the undersigned persons.
