Digital Coin Jar

Digital Coin Jar

Save by making payments with a debit card

  • The more often you pay by card, the more you can save
  • All the amounts of your payments by a debit card are rounded up, and the difference is transferred to your savings deposit account
  • The service is free of charge, and you can transfer the saved amount to your bank account anytime

Digital Coin Jar – it is a free savings tool that rounds the amount of payment by a debit card to the nearest whole number and automatically transfers the difference to your deposit account. This gradually increases your savings.

The basic principle of the Digital Coin Jar is simple. For example, if you make a payment of 6.40 euro by card, we will round up the amount to 7.00 euro and 60 cents will be transferred to your savings deposit account (7.00 euro - 6.40 euro = 0.60 euro). All your debit card payment amounts, including payments made by the debit card on the Internet will be rounded up. The resulting amounts will be transferred to the savings deposit account on the next day.

You can accumulate the savings in your existing savings deposit account or open a new savings deposit account. You can use the money you have saved at any time, and it costs you nothing.

Try out the Digital Coin Jar calculator that is available on the Internet Bank and find out the amount you would have saved during the previous month.

To start saving in a Digital Coin Jar, order the service on SEB mobile app or the Internet Bank – it is easy and quick.
