  • During the quarantine period, we deferred more than 1,850 loans to private individuals and nearly 1,300 loans to business customers.
  • We have joined the ranks of the institutions that apply temporary credit obligation moratoriums for natural and legal persons and have offered our customers, i.e. the existing borrowers, a maximum credit deferral period without changing any credit agreement terms.
  • In cooperation with INVEGA, we issue loans to businesses affected because of COVID-19.
  • During the quarantine, we ensured an uninterrupted provision of the necessary banking services, so that both people and businesses can feel secure and comfortable while complying social distancing requirements.
  • We have allocated 100 thousand euro in support to the State for its fight against COVID-19.
  • We have allocated all of our year 2019 profit not for distribution in dividends, but for strengthening our bank’s capital, so that we are able to issue loans to our country’s businesses and residents.
  • We will fulfil our commitments towards non-profit-making and non-governmental organisations with which we have agreed on aid or support in 2020.
 

Our bank branches service pre-registered customers

A method of service where a customer has to call up and register before visiting our bank branch will continue to apply to ensure security and convenience for you. This will enable you to plan and save your time instead of waiting in a queue, you will always know exactly how long it will take to settle your financial matters.

No need to go anywhere – manage your finances online

  • With the mobile app, you can transfer money fast and view your account balances.
  • On the Internet Bank, order a debit card and get it by post at your home address. If necessary, check your card PIN or block your card.
  • Get advice on your personal finance management online - at a video meeting.
  • On the Internet Bank fill out a request for a consumer loan or a credit card.
  • If you use a digipass, download Smart-ID app. It will be an alternative, if your digipass fails or shuts down.
  • If you have any questions, please turn to us for advice by phone or send a message to a virtual advisor 24/7.

 

 

 

Arrange by phone, so that you don’t have to go to a branch

  • Unblock access to Internet Bank, if you have entered incorrect login data several times in a row and access to the Internet Bank has been blocked.
  • Unblock your payment card PIN. If you enter the wrong PIN 3 times, but you remember the code, you will be able to continue using your card after it is unblocked.
  • Increase the limits for money transfers and card payments (for money transfers on the Internet Bank or by phone, for payment by card - on the Internet bank, mobile app or by phone).
  • Use your saving deposit funds. Obtain access to transfer your saving deposit funds to another account and use them. 
  • Check your account balance. If you don’t use the Internet Bank or a mobile app, check your account balance by phone. Contact the customer service centre at: +370 5 268 2800 (Mon-Fri 8:00–20:00, Sat 9:00–18:00, Sun 9:00–16:00)

 

 
 

 

We recommend avoiding payments in cash

For your security, we suggest opting for electronic means – bank cards, Internet Bank or mobile app. The contactless payment limit increased up to EUR 50 during the lockdown period remains valid. Thus, without entering PIN you will be able to pay for goods and services if the amount of payment is below or equal to EUR 50.

Solutions that we offer in the face of financial difficulties

For private clients who have a mortgage loan and are facing temporary financial difficulties we are ready to offer the following solutions:

  • To defer loan repayment. Deferral of loan repayment instalments is possible if there is at least one of the circumstances listed in the table below. If other credit terms and conditions remain unchanged, the margin will not be revised. No contract amendment fee applies, and only interest is payable during that period.
    The terms and conditions also apply to customers who have already filed a request for credit deferral within the period 16 March – 20 April 2020. To avail of the credit extension, please update your request on the Internet Bank.
    To apply for a deferral of mortgage payments, log in to the Internet Bank. You can fill in the application by selecting ‘Loans/Leasings’ -> ‘My loans’ on the top menu bar. Select the appropriate credit and click ‘Application for grace period’. A change in the credit deferral requires consent of your spouse / another co-borrower.
Other solutions
  • To extend the loan maturity in order to reduce monthly instalments. In view of the quarantine-caused financial difficulties, we will not charge any agreement amendment fee.
    To apply for extending the loan repayment, log in to the Internet Bank. You can fill in the application by selecting ‘Loans/Leasings’ -> ‘My loans’ on the top menu bar. Select the appropriate credit and click ‘Application for amendment’. A change in the credit deferral requires consent of your spouse / another co-borrower.
  • To change the loan repayment method from linear to annuity to reduce monthly instalments. In view of the quarantine-caused financial difficulties, we will not charge any agreement amendment fee.
    To apply for changing the loan repayment method, log in to the Internet Bank. You can fill in the application by selecting ‘Loans/Leasings’ -> ‘My loans’ on the top menu bar. Select the appropriate credit and click ‘Application for amendment’. A change in the credit deferral requires consent of your spouse / another co-borrower.

If you have credit instalment insurance

If you have ‘Saugus kreditas’ – a tool for credit instalment insurance, it means you have protection against situations where your ability to meet your financial obligations deteriorates. To check whether you have chosen this insurance, see the agreement you have signed. If you don’t have it, contact us and we will send you a copy of your agreement.

Depending on the selected insurance coverage, credit instalments for up to a 6-month period for insured persons in case of their job loss or temporary incapacity for work due to illness would be covered by the insurance company. In the event of permanent incapacity or death of the insured person, the insurance company would cover the entire credit or its balance.

Unforeseen circumstances: Credit instalment deferral period:
if you lose your job up to 12 months
if your income decreases up to 12 months
if the family loses its breadwinner (spouse) up to 12 months
if you fall ill or have an accident,
as a result of which you would be unable to work more than 2 months
up to 12 months or longer (depending on the specific circumstances)
in case of a birth of a child
up to 12 months, if a child is brought up by one person
up to 6 months, if a child is brought up by both spouses
in case of fire and other natural calamity up to 6 months
if you start studies up to 3 months
in case of divorce up to 3 months
during compulsory initial military service over the entire period of compulsory military service

For private clients who have a leasing and are facing temporary financial difficulties we are ready to offer the following solution:

  • To defer the repayment of your leasing. We will defer payment of your leasing instalments if there is at least one of the circumstances listed in the table below. If other leasing terms and conditions remain unchanged, the margin will not be revised. In view of the quarantine-caused financial difficulties, we will not charge any contract amendment fee. During this period, both interest and insurance premiums are payable, if leasing with casco insurance was chosen when concluding the leasing contract.
    The terms and conditions also apply to customers who have already filed a request for leasing instalments deferral within the period 16 March – 20 April 2020. To avail of the credit extension, please update your request on the Internet Bank.

To apply for a deferral of payment of your leasing instalments or extend your leasing maturity, log in to the Internet Bank. When you access your Internet Bank, select your leasing agreement (on the top menu bar select ‘Loans/Leasings’ -> ‘My leasing’ -> ‘Application for amendment’) and confirm your request. Also, you can contact your client executive.

  • To defer the instalments of a spent credit limit. We will defer instalments of a spent credit limit if there is at least one of the circumstances listed in the table below. If other credit terms and conditions remain unchanged, the margin will not be revised. In view of the quarantine-caused financial difficulties, we will not charge any agreement amendment and only interest payable during that period will apply.
    The terms and conditions also apply to customers who have already filed a request for leasing instalments deferral within the period 16 March – 20 April 2020. To avail of the credit extension, please update your request on the Internet Bank.
