Amendments to the terms of the Electronic Services Agreement

Whereas digital technologies become increasingly popular in the European Union (EU), and the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2) came into effect,  all banks operating in the European Union are obligated at the customer’s request to provide some information (e.g., account balance, statement of account) to other companies, or on behalf of our customer to permit initiation of payments from his/her account. We will continue to ensure our customer data security and any access to our customer data will not be given without our customer’s prior consent.

Access rights to the customer’s account will be given to other companies (third party providers) only subject to the customer’s prior consent (as a rule, such consent should be approved after log in to our Internet Bank) and the companies  will be required to comply with rigid security requirements and to obtain a license from the Bank of Lithuania.

Taking into consideration the above, several amendments that come into effect on 20 August have been made to the terms of the Electronic Services Agreement.

Other relevant amendments to the terms of Electronic Services Agreement are as follows:

  • detailed information regarding a possibility to enter into some type agreements by phone
  • requirements for the users of the SEB Mobile App to log in to our Internet Bank without any additional login data

We kindly invite you to familiarize with amendments to the terms of the Electronic Services Agreement that come into effect on 20 August 2018:

All amendments to the terms in the documents are highlighted in bold.
