Whereas digital technologies become increasingly popular in the European Union (EU), and the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2) came into effect, all banks operating in the European Union are obligated at the customer’s request to provide some information (e.g., account balance, statement of account) to other companies, or on behalf of our customer to permit initiation of payments from his/her account. We will continue to ensure our customer data security and any access to our customer data will not be given without our customer’s prior consent.
Access rights to the customer’s account will be given to other companies (third party providers) only subject to the customer’s prior consent (as a rule, such consent should be approved after log in to our Internet Bank) and the companies will be required to comply with rigid security requirements and to obtain a license from the Bank of Lithuania.
Taking into consideration the above, several amendments that come into effect on 20 August have been made to the terms of the Electronic Services Agreement.
