Virtual Advisor

Virtual Advisor

A fast and modern way to inquire about bank services

  • You can chat anytime, 24/7
  • If needed, you will be connected to a human – bank employee
  • There is no need to enter any personal data

The Virtual Advisor is a chatbot that is continuously learning about new topics and can provide information to you immediately and around the clock.

The SEB Virtual Advisor has been specifically taught to respond to questions regarding banking products and services and it opens on the pages of banking products with which it can help you.

Currently, it can provide information on the following topics:

  • bank cards;
  • loans;
  • service channels.

If the chatbot window opens on your screen and you have any questions you have not found an answer to on the website, type your question into the chat window. The Virtual Advisor will give you primary information or redirect you to the required applications, the Internet Bank login page, or other helpful pages.

If it cannot answer your question or if you need help from our customer support

  • on working days from 8 am to 8 pm it will offer to connect you to a bank employee, you can continue chatting in the same window
  • after working hours: it will offer to come back during working hours or register to consultation
  • after working hours in urgent cases, e. g. payment card or internet bank blocking, please call +370 5 268 2800.

The Virtual Advisor provides answers to general questions regarding banking products and services, so you will not need to enter any personal data. If you have entered any personal data into the chat window, they are processed in accordance with SEB’s general principles for processing personal data, which you can read more about here: https://www.seb.lt/sites/default/files/web/pdf/Privatumo_politika_EN.pdf

Virtual Advisor is constantly learning and for this purpose, it uses the questions that you provide, as well as your dialogue content and reactions.

However, to get the best of it, there are some tips on how to formulate questions when talking to a robot.

  1. Make your questions as short and precise as possible, it is totally OK to write just a few words, without full sentences or small talk.
  2. Don’t forget to mention “key” thing, e. g. “card travelling insurance”, “card PIN code”, “App PIN code”, “Smart-ID PIN code” etc.
  3. If you did not get the answer right away, try to rephrase your question – each one will help Virtual Advisor to improve.
  4. If you got the answer and would like to ask something different, write “Ok”, than Virtual Advisor will understand that you are changing the topic.
