Beware of the threats

Dear Customers,

For your information, there have been more and more cases lately when online frauds are trying to infect the computers of online banking users with malware.

Please be careful when you open e-mails and browse the web. Take special care when you check messages from unknown persons in your e-mail and social network accounts that contain hyperlinks. Never click on suspicious hyperlinks.

To remind you, malware is usually spread through e-mail attachments and insecure websites, so we urge you to use original anti-virus applications and to install timely updates of the system and the anti-virus software. If you have detected a virus, please contact IT professionals.

We would like to draw your attention to possible characteristics of a virus-infected computer:

If you correctly enter your identification code and passwords, but you fail to log in to the Internet Bank (you are immediately notified that your session has ended or that your password has been entered incorrectly), it is probable that your PC may be infected with a virus.

In such a case, please stop using this particular PC for log-in to the Internet Bank website and immediately contact SEB Bank by phone at +370 5 268 2800 (available 24/7).

Kindly yours
SEB Bank
