This method is used to transfer funds in different currencies to just about all countries of the world. The transfer is performed via correspondent accounts opened with correspondent banks, therefore you have to specify the details of your selected correspondent bank as well as the remittee’s account number in the international IBAN format and the bank’s BIC code.

The duration of transferring money to a foreign country depends on the currency you are transferring and the filing time and type of your payment order (regular, urgent or extra urgent). If payment order is provided to SEB Bank after above mentioned time or on non-banking day, funds transfer is executed one banking day later.

If money is transferred to you from an account opened with another bank operating abroad, it will be credited to your account on the same day it reaches the SEB Bank.

In case of standard cross-border payment, funds are debited to SEB Bank’s correspondent accounts with other banks within 2 banking days except for money transfers BYN, RUB, KZT, UAH. In case of standard cross-border payment in BYN, RUB, KZT, UAH, funds transfer is executed on the next banking day. In case of funds transfer via other banks’ correspondent (loro) accounts with SEB Bank, funds are credited to other banks’ correspondent accounts on the same banking day, if relevant payment order is provided before 4:00 p.m. If payment order is provided to SEB Bank after above mentioned time or on non-banking day, funds transfer is executed one banking day later. |

In case of an urgent cross-border payment, funds are transferred to payee’s bank account on the next banking day. Urgent cross-border payment orders are accepted on banking days before 4:30 p.m. in currencies other than AUD, BYN, CNY, HKD, INR, JPY, KZT, NZD, PHP, RUB, QAR, SAR, SGD, TRY, UAH and ZAR. Urgent cross-border payment orders in AUD, HKD, JPY, NZD, SGD, TRY, ZAR are accepted before 2:00 p.m. Urgent cross-border payment orders in the BYN, RUB, KZT, UAH are accepted before 10:00 a.m. and funds transfer is executed on the same banking day. In case of PHP, CNY, INR, QAR, SAR currencies, no urgent cross-border payments may be executed. If payment order is provided to SEB Bank after above mentioned time or on non-banking day, funds transfer is executed one banking day later. |

In case of an express cross-border payment, funds are transferred to payee’s bank account on the same working day. Express cross-border payment orders for funds transfer in USD or EUR are accepted on banking days before 4:00 p.m. Express cross-border payment orders in other currencies are accepted on banking days before 10:00 a.m. In case of AUD, BYN, CNY, HKD, INR, JPY, KZT, NZD, PHP, RUB, QAR, SAR, SGD, TRY, UAH and ZAR currencies, no express cross-border payments may be executed. If payment order is provided to SEB Bank after above mentioned time or on non-banking day, funds transfer is executed one banking day later. 1 OUR – a payer pays SEB Bank and other bank commission fees. Other bank commission fees (up to 75 Eur or equivalent in other currencies) are debited from the payer's account. 2 SHA – a payer pays SEB Bank commission fees, the payee pays other bank commission fees, except where a fee cannot be debited from the payee's account in accordance with the rules set by the other bank. 3 BEN – a payee pays SEB Bank and other bank fees, except where a fee cannot be debited from the payee's account in accordance with the rules set by the other bank. Fee of EUR 26.07 is applied to the payee for the standard international payment instruction, EUR 40.55 – for the urgent international payment instruction and EUR 78.20 – for the extra urgent international payment instruction. Only shared charges (SHA) are allowed if payee‘s bank is registered in the European Union or the European Economic Area country, Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino, Andorra. Cross-border payment to the countries listed above are not executed if the bank fees are paid only by the beneficiary (BEN) or only by the payer (OUR). Foreign currency is a currency other than the euro. |
