Indemnity
Payment of the insurance indemnity
AB Lietuvos draudimas will pay the insurance benefit within 15 business days after receiving all information needed to determine the insured event, its circumstances, consequences, and the amount of the benefit. You will be notified about the decision in writing.
AB Lietuvos draudimas will transfer insurance indemnity to your SEB current account and will deduct EUR 30 from it. The amount of indemnity depends on the condition of the item:
- If the insurer finds that repairing the item is economically viable, they will cover the repair costs. From this amount, they will subtract the deductible and VAT, if you are a VAT payer
- If the insurer finds that it is economically impractical to repair the purchase, they will cover the cost of a new item. From this amount, they will subtract the deductible and VAT, if you are a VAT payer
- Losses are compensated up to the purchase price
Insurance indemnity limits and deductibles per card
- Annual sum – EUR 5,000
- Per insurance event – EUR 5,000
- Per purchase – EUR 5,000
- Per single insurance event for special purchase – EUR 600
The exact list is available in the Clause 12 of the Insurance terms and conditions - Insurance Product Information document (PDF)
- Purchase price from which insurance cover takes effect – 100 euros
We apply a deductible of 30 euros per each insured event.

- A photo of the damaged item, an estimate of its repair costs, or both of these
- Certificates from law enforcement confirming that you reported an insured event involving the loss of the item due to third-party criminal actions.
