1 Service plan MINIMUM has been formed according to the set of basic services produced by the Bank of Lithuania. Concluding, monthly fee of this service plan for socially disadvantaged people is 0.69 Eur.

With the insurance cover in the event of trauma, you will be compensated if, due to an accident, you have suffered a health problem (trauma), due to which you have been required to visit an emergency medical department. The indemnity is paid for one such event in a calendar year and its occurrence must be proven by medical records. The indemnity is paid within two working days from the submission of the required medical documents. The customer does not need to conclude an insurance agreement to obtain this insurance cover. The insurance is valid from the day following the conclusion of the service plan agreement until the expiration of the agreement or until the member is removed from the service plan. The insurance cover in the event of trauma is provided by the SEB Life and Pension Baltic SE Lithuanian branch.

Non-resident customers who subscribe to a service plan are additionally subject to a minimum bank service fee for non-residents. All natural persons are classified as non-resident customers, other than those who are classified as residents. A resident is a natural person legally residing in the Republic of Lithuania or in any other Member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, i.e. a person who, by virtue of the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania or of such other Member State has the right, respectively, to reside in the Republic of Lithuania or in such other Member State.
9 Administration of incoming payments in all currencies transferred within SEB Bank and administration of incoming payments in euro from other banks registered in Lithuania, the EU, the EEA countries, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino, Andorra and Vatican City State.

Frequently asked questions

Current service plans will remain in effect until the third quarter of this year, therefore, no action is required at this moment.    

At least 60 days before the time when the current service plans will no longer be offered, we will inform the customers personally (by e-mail, SMS messages, notification in the Internet bank) which service plan we suggest to choose, taking into account the habits of using banking services. If the option offered does not suit you, you can always choose another suitable option.  

Basic information about the renewed service plans that will be offered starting in 9 April 2024 is already available on our website. The website also provides a calculator that will help you choose the plan that best suits your needs. 

You will be able to choose the updated service plans from 9 April, and the current service plans will be valid until the third quarter of 2024 – we will inform you about the next steps as this time approaches. This means that customers who want to immediately use the benefits of the renewed service plans will be able to choose one of the plans as early as 9 April 2024 or use their current plan until the third quarter of this year. 

New rates for bank services will come into effect and customers will be able to choose renewed service plans from 9 April 2024. 

Insurance covers unexpected accidents that require a visit to the emergency room. The accident must be certified by a medical document issued by a doctor.   

An insurance benefit in the amount of EUR 50 is paid to customers who have chosen the DAILY service plan, EUR 100 – for the DAILY+ plan, and EUR 200 – for the PREMIUM plan.  

The insurance benefit can be paid for one accident per calendar year. The insurance benefit shall be paid within two business days after receiving all the necessary medical documents. The coverage is valid until the service plan contract expires.  

In order to use this insurance, you do not need to have a credit card or conclude an insurance contract, it is sufficient to sign the relevant service plan contract.   

Yes, instant personal accident insurance is valid abroad. Documents certifying the insured event must be submitted in Lithuanian or English (or an official translation into one of these languages must be provided). 

This insurance service applies to purchases made by credit card holders, paid for by a credit card, both in physical and e-shops worldwide. Purchase insurance protects purchases made with a credit card against damage, destruction or loss due to any sudden and unexpected event for up to 6 months from the date of purchase.  

Other persons can be invited to use certain service plans: family members, friends or other chosen persons (up to two people) who are SEB Bank customers. Invited members will be able to use the same service plan at no additional cost, and the customer who invited them (i.e., the inviter) will pay 80% of service plan price.   

The inviter can add/cancel members through the internet bank (by concluding a new contract or by correcting the current one), as well as physically at the bank branch. After receiving the invitation, the invited member will have to accept it to be able to use the benefits of the service plan.   

If the customer, who invited other people to use the plan, wishes to change or changes the selected service plan, previously included members will be automatically withdrawn.  

The monthly fee for the DAILY service plan contract does not apply to persons aged 18 to 25 inclusive. Also, persons who have reached the retirement age set by the Law on State Social Insurance Pensions can use this plan for half the fee – 1 EUR.  

Until the end of this year, customers will be able to use the PREMIUM service plan for half the price, i.e., 3.5 EUR/month.  

There is no need to order the YOUTH service plan. This plan is automatically applied immediately after opening the first bank account. It expires on the day the person turns 26.  

No, after 9 April you will no longer be able to change the account from which your existing service plan charges are debited. You will be able to change your account when you subscribe to one of the updated SEB Bank service plans.
