The Supervisory Council of SEB bankas in Lithuania has appointed Vilius Juzikis, currently Acting Head of Client Coverage of SEB Lithuania, as a member of the Management Board of SEB bankas. He will take his new position as member of the board after receiving permission of the authorities supervising activities of SEB bankas. V. Juzikis will be responsible for the activities of Corporate Banking Division in the Management Board of the bank.
Aivaras Čičelis, currently the member of the Management Board and the Head of Corporate Banking of SEB Lithuania, will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Head of Business Support of SEB Lithuania, and continue as the member of the Management Board of SEB Lithuania. Starting from the 20th of February Aivaras will replace Jonas Iržikevičius, who has been earlier appointed to become the Head of Baltic Finance.
According to preliminary data, unaudited net profit earned by AB SEB bankas in 2016 was EUR 94.5 million, and that earned by AB SEB bankas Group was EUR 93.1 million. The result has been calculated in accordance with relevant requirements laid down in the documents of the Bank of Lithuania and legal acts the Republic of Lithuania. Unaudited net profit earned by AB SEB bankas in 2015 was EUR 62.1 million, and that earned by AB SEB bankas Group was EUR 58.8 million. Excluding unspecific one-off deals, unaudited net profit earned by AB SEB bankas in 2016 was EUR 68.3 million, i. e. 10 per cent higher as compared to 2015, and that earned by AB SEB bankas Group was EUR 67 million, i.e. 14 per cent higher as compared to 2015.
