    SEB Bank clients the first in Lithuania to manage their accounts through another bank’s e-banking system

    Starting from 14 September when the EU Payment Services Directive enters into force, bank customers will be able to manage their bank accounts through licensed providers of financial services upon giving their relevant consent. Today such a possibility to its clients was offered by SEB Bank – its clients will be the first in Lithuania to manage their accounts opened with SEB Bank through another bank’s e-banking system.

    Notice on the cross-border merger of SEB life insurance entities and the formation of a European company (SE)

    We hereby announce that the Board of AB “SEB gyvybės draudimas” (the “entity in Lithuania”), in cooperation with the Boards of the insurance entity SEB Elu-ja Pensionikindlustus (the “entity in Estonia”) and insurance entity SEB Dzīvības Insurance (the “entity in Latvia”), set out the cross-border merger terms. These conditions are applied to the formation of a European company (SE) by way of cross-border merger proceedings, which are carried out in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 2157/2001 of 8 October 2001 on the Statue for a European company (SE), the Directive (EU) 2017/1132 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 June 2017 relating to certain aspects of company law, as well as other applicable laws of Republic of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

    The additional safety feature has been installed for log-in to the Internet Bank

    As of today, customers who login to the Internet Bank by using Smart-ID app, will be also required to enter their personal identification number upon log-in from a new device – the one they haven’t used before to log-in to Internet Bank. If the customer has already entered his/her data, such customer will not be required to enter the data again, unless the customer has deleted the browsing data.
