From 3 PM on 19 December 2025, we will terminate all financial services in Bulgarian lev (BGN)

Please be informed that on 1 January 2026, Bulgaria will join the eurozone. A fixed conversion rate of 1.95583 lev per euro has been set. Therefore, we will terminate all financial services in Bulgarian lev from 3 PM on 19 December 2025.

To ensure that all payments and other financial operations in Bulgarian lev are processed on time, we kindly ask to make them no later than by 3 PM on 19 December.

On 29 December, we will convert all outstanding balances in Bulgarian lev on clients’ accounts to euro at a rate mentioned above.

SEB clients don’t need to take any actions regarding this change.
