The Sub-fund SEB Global Focus Fund open to invest in the defence industry from 1 September 2025
Since 2022, select SEB funds have been permitted to invest in the conventional defense industry following an update to SEB Asset Management’s sustainability policy*.
In addition to the funds that already include the defense industry in their investment scope (listed below), the following fund will also be eligible to do so:

- SEB Fund 1 – SEB Global Focus Fund (UC) – ISIN: LU1791748715
- SEB Fund 1 – SEB Global Focus Fund (ZC) – ISIN: LU1726276410
* The funds do not have the option to invest in companies involved in the development of nuclear weapons programmes or the production of nuclear weapons, companies engaged in the manufacture, development or sale of prohibited or controversial weapons (such as cluster bombs, landmines, white phosphorus, and chemical or biological weapons), or companies deriving more than a limited portion of their revenue from the production or sale of civilian weapons.

You may redeem your fund units at any time without incurring any redemption fees. This provides you with full flexibility to manage your investments according to your needs.
