From 1st of January 2023 investment fund units and ETFs purchase by retail client is restricted if PRIIPs KID is not available
We would like to inform that from 1st of January 2023 investment fund and ETF manufacturers must make available PRIIPs KID if they would like to offer products for retail client in EU.
If PRIIPs KID is not available by the 31st of December, SEB will restrict buying of that fund and ETF for retail client. Clients can sell their fund and ETF instruments without any restrictions. This requirement is not applicable in case of the transactions are made under the securities portfolio management agreement.
When fund and ETF manufacturer publish the PRIIPs KID, SEB will remove all purchase restrictions regarding that instrument.
